The latter happens in the setting of low carb diets and is NORMAL physiology. I appreciate the work Cyrus and Robby are doing, but they are very wrong to suggest that animal foods cause insulin resistance or are in any way harmful. Pathological insulin resistance is a state cool training with both elevated glucose and elevated insulin, and NEITHER of these is present on low carb diets which include animal foods- like a carnivore or carnivore-ish diet.
