Error: No content files found. The Carnivore Code has arrived and it’s already a bestseller!! Get it here: www.thecarnivorecodebook.com In this snippet from my recent podcast (Fundamental Health, available on iTunes, YouTube, and carnivoremd.com) with Kara from Nutrisense, I show what a typical day of blood sugars looks like when I am including carbohydrates in the form of honey. Contrary to what you may have heard, a blood sugar rise like I see with 70g of carbohydrates in this video is related NOT pathological. The AUC (area under the curve), which is how we get a sense of glycemic index, is small, and my glycemic variability is also very low (even after eating honey multiple days in a row= good sources of carbohydrates do not cause you can look here insulin resistance). If you compare my blood glucose response to that of someone with insulin resistance (as you can see in this video and which we discuss in much more detail in this podcast), they are very different.
